Below are brief descriptions of the most common sign mounting
substrates that we keep in stock nearly all of the time.
    • Aluminum

Aluminum is a durable outdoor material ideal for permanent and semi-permanent signage such as hanging real estate signs, fence signs, construction signage, and retail POS displays.
    • Coroplast

Coroplast (corrugated plastic) is a lightweight rigid corrugated plastic.  This is an inexpensive mounting material commonly used for temporary signage such as political signs, contractor yard signs, or anything else that will be used for a relatively short period of time.  Coroplast comes in two thicknesses in the event you need something lightweight and inexpensive that will last a bit longer. Standard coroplast is available in a variety of colors including white, black, orange, red, green, blue, and yellow.
    • Foam Core

Foam core is a lightweight material has a very smooth surface and is ideal for temporary signage.  While it is fairly durable, it is more susceptible to dings and dents then other mounting surfaces.  It does cut very nicely and so is ideal for any signage with custom (non-rectangular) shape requirements.
    • Gatorboard

Gatorboard is a durable, yet lightweight,  indoor composite board made of a combination of plastic and paper with a dense core that resists denting.  Gatorboard is very rigid and smooth and therefore make an ideal mounting surface for high quality printed graphics that need to last.
    • PVC

PVC is a dense plastic substrate used to mount indoor or outdoor signage. Thin PVC can be used for temporary indoor signage such as trade show displays or retail signs, while a thicker PVC should be used if the sign will be more permanent such as in the case of storefront signs or other long-term outdoor signs. PVC is extremely resistant to dings and dents and has an ultra-smooth surface texture. PVC is available in black or white.

    In Your Own Words

And now a few words from our customers...

    • We had a trade show that was two days away and other shops could produce a banner, but could not get a bannerstand in time.  Landy Marketing designed and printed our banner and, because they had the stand in stock, had everything done a day early!  We are customers for life.
